There is no denying that the musical’s original cast featuring Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick took its popularity to a new level. Nathan Lane is known for his contribution to the television, films and theater. Thus making his presence known in The Birdcage, George and Martha, The Lisbon Traviata, The Lion King, Stuart Little etc. His humble beginnings include working a string of odd jobs such as bail interviewer, singing messenger and telemarketer. He also worked as a standup comedian for three years and was soon seen performing in theatrical productions. In 1982 a sitcom called One of the Boys came his way. The same year he made his debut in Broadway with Present Laughter which indeed started his career in theater. Later a series of successful plays transformed him into one of the most sought-after actors. Bad Habits, Guys and Dolls, Laughter, La Cage Aux Folles, Lips Together and Love! Valour!Compassion! are to name several.

In 2000s Lane landed an opportunity to work in The Producers playing the character of Max Bialystock. Hence sweeping Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award. His co-star Matthew Broderick garnered equal attention for his role as Leopold Bloom. Broderick is another Tony Award winning actor who is known for his roles in Brighton Beach Memoirs, Night Must Fall, How to Succeed without really Trying, The Odd Couple and The Philanthropist. Broderick started off with On Valentine’s Day followed by Torch Song Trilogy. He was also seen essaying different roles in movies such as WarGames, Max Dugan Returns, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Ladyhawke. In 2005 he provided voice over for The Lion King alongside Nathan Lane. He recently returned with a bang with another Broadway production titled Nice Work if You can Get It by Kathleen Marshall.

As much as the cast and the plot of a stage play make a difference a state-of-the-art venue can also add to its success. Fabulous Fox Theater is one such venue to mention. Accommodating more than 4600 spectators the theater was built in 1929. It is located in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia and hosts about three hundred performances every year. It has been touted as "the #1 non-residency venue worldwide for the decade" by the Billboard Magazine. Presenting Broadway shows, rock and comedy movies the Fox Theater was designed by Olivier J.Vinour who brought Islamic and Egyptian architecture to the fore. Thus making it beautiful inside out. The building features an auditorium, Grand Salon, mezzanine Gentleman’s Lounge, lower Ladies Lounge, Egyptian Ballroom, mezzanine Lady’s Lounge and lower Gentleman’s Lounge. Some of the past theatrical performances and movies seen at the theater are; The Lion King, The Saigon, The Nutcracker, Fox at the Fox concert, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe etc. To watch the upcoming performance imbued with satire and humor get hold of The Producers Theatrical Production tickets .
