The athletic teams of the United States Military Academy are collectively named as Army Black Knights. They participate in the NCAA Division 1. Different sports’ teams are the members of different Leagues. The Black Knights is also a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference. Multiple sports are being played under the name of Army Black Knights. The athletic department came into picture in 1899. “Mule” is the mascot since its inception, which signifies perseverance and strength. The basketball team represents the Military Academy in National Collegiate Athletic Association.
