On the 10th of November in 2010, they successfully their debut album came out. The title of the album is I Want! I Want! When this album came out, the main track of the album called "Anna Sun" received an immense amount of airplay on WTMD, WFPK, WCRD, WRLT and WFPK. They signed a contract deal with Mick Management in early 2011 and also signed up with the RCA Records. Soon their official album came out in June 2012 called Walk the Moon. The bands’ self-debut album consists of various fresh songs from I Want! I Want! Along with some new songs that were created primarily for the record and were made to mirror the sort of vibe that can be seen in their concerts. In 2012, they were given an invitation to come and perform live at the SXSW. They were also featured on the Last call with Carson Daly a show that is hosted by Carson Daly. They toured extensively in the spring of 2011 and garnered an immense amount of fan following for them. For all of the live performances that they do, they are known to paint their faces. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the famous Lollapalooza festival they performed at the main stage. Walk the Moon Announces New Album, 'What If Nothing'
On September 26th, the Ohio based indie pop quartet, Walk the Moon shared some exciting news with its fans. They announced that they will be coming out with their fourth studio LP, ‘What If Nothing’ on November 10th. They have also shared the cover-art and the track-list of their upcoming record. Moreover, Walk the Moon have also unveiled that they will be kicking-off their ‘Press Restart Tour’ to promote the album. They are expected to play the first show of the tour in Charlotte on November 19th. The band will then go on to perform concerts in multiple cities like, Tulsa, Pittsburgh and Atlanta before ending the trek on February 24th in Minneapolis.
