Trace Adkins opened his eyes in the world in Srepta, in Webster Parish in north Louisiana, United States. He had been interested in music from a very young age, but finally began to pursue a career in the music industry in the year 1990. His style of music revolves mostly on the genres of blues rock, country rock and country. The singer released his debut single in the year 1996 under the title of There's A Girl in Texas. The track went on to become a major hit, making it to the Top Twenty on the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks chart. Adkins followed it by his debut full length studio album the same year which was named Dreaming Out Loud.

The debut album by Trace Adkins spawned numerous popular tracks, such as I Left Something Turned On at Home, This Ain't No Thinking Thing, Every Light in the House and several more as well. I Left Something Turned On at Home went on to become a number one hit in Canada. After the success of his debut album, Trace Adkins set to work on his second record, which was released under the title of Big Time. This too became enormously popular, producing several hits such as The Rest of Mine.

The third album by Trace Adkins was released in the year 1999 and was named More. The title song of the album went on to reach the Top Forty, but the record did not manage to gain a gold certification by the RIAA. His next album was released in the year 2001. The record was titled Chrome, and it gained the spot in the Top Five on the country albums chart. Its lead single also made its way to the Top Twenty in the year 2002. The following year, Trace Adkins issued two records. The first one was named Greatest Hits and the second one was called Coming On Strong. In addition to this, he also became an inductee into the Grand Ole Opry the same year.

Two of the most popular songs from his album, Coming on Strong included hits like Rough and Ready and Hot Mama. The former went on to peak at the number thirteen and the latter made it into the Top Five. Trace Adkins has had over twenty tracks on the Billboard country music charts, including chart toppers such as You're Gonna Miss This, Ladies Love Country Boys, and This Ain't No Thinking Thing. All of his records have achieved a platinum of gold certification in the US, except only one. His most popular album to date was Songs About Me, which was released in the year 2005 and went on to be certified double multi platinum.

Trace Adkins has also appeared on tv numerous times, for various different shows. Moreover, he also wrote an autobiography, which was issued in the year 2007. The book was named A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Free Thinking Roughneck. American country music artist Trace Adkins recently announced a new batch of tour dates in support of his latest music record Something’s Going On. The How Did We Get Here Tour is scheduled to kick off with a performance in Biloxi on April 6. The singer will then visit cities such as Fort Worth, Winnipeg, Albuquerque and Bowling Green. Before getting started with the trek, Adkins will join Blake Shelton on his Country Music Freaks Tour.

Something’s Going On is the fifteenth studio album by Trace Adkins. It was released via Wheelhouse Records in March of 2017. 

How to Buy Trace Adkins Tickets?
