Skyrocketing to Fame

Tool's journey towards stardom began when they issued their first studio album, 'undertow' in 1993. The album turned out to be a big hit in North America, recording double platinum and platinum sales in the United States and Canada respectively. It was also met with great response from the critics and was placed at the eleventh spot on Pause & Play's list of, 'The 90s Top 100 Essential Albums.' Following the release of the record, the guys hit the studio again and started to brainstorm ideas for their next studio project. Three years later, the band put out, 'Ænima.' Topping the Charts

Tool soon achieved more success when they dropped their record, 'Lateralus' in 2001.
