Canadian music artist The Weeknd has announced a new music album as well as a North American summer tour in its support. This will be the musician’s first major outing since the year 2017.

The singer’s upcoming fourth record titled After Hours is slated to hit the stores in March of 2020. It features songs such as Blinding Lights and Heartless. Joining The Weeknd in support on select dates are music acts including Sabrina Claudio, Don Toliver and 88 Glam. There are two shows scheduled at the AmericanAirlines Arena in July, The Weeknd Miami tickets for which are now available. Book them quickly.

After Hours

After Hours is the name of The Weeknd’s fourth studio album. It is slated to release via Republic Records and XO in March 2020. So far, the project is supported by the singles Heartless and Blinding Lights. After Hours is the Canadian music artist’s first studio record since Starboy came out in the year 2016. In the year 2018, he did release an EP titled My Dear Melancholy.

The new album’s art direction is done by the Tammi Bothers while the direction and photography is managed by Anton Tammi. He has directed the music videos of both the singles Blinding Lights and Heartless.

Heartless was dropped as the album’s lead single in November 2019. The song is written by The Weeknd in collaboration with Dre Moon, Illangelo and Metro Boomin. It hit the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in the second week of its release. By doing so it also became the musician’s fourth number one hit in America.

On Tour

The dates for Thee Weeknd’s latest North American tour are out. The trek kick starts after the release of the album After Hours. It will have the musician perform songs from the new collection live.
