A Fabled Career

Santana is known for his unique voice and pioneering a blend of rock and Latin music. After his self-titled debut album in 1969, Santana performed at the Woodstock Festival that introduced him to wider audience and helped in achieving critical acclaim. Recalling the experience, Santana says that he was quite afraid to perform in front of such a big audience for the first time but it went smoothly.

Santana has a track record of hit albums including “Abraxas”, “Lotus”, “Love Devotion Surrender”, “The Power of Peace”, “Zebop!” and “Supernatural” which topped the charts. He became highly popular in a short span and made his mark in history with his achievements. Among many other accolades, Santana is the recipient of 10 Grammy Awards and 3 Latin Grammy Awards. Along with the celebration of the 20^th anniversary of the legend’s debut album “Santana”, the tour follows his recent EP “In Search of Mona Lisa” released in 2016. According to Carlos, he found inspiration for this EP when he felt the Mona Lisa painting was talking to him during a visit to the museum.
