Rob Zombie’s music has been majorly inspired by classic horror and suspense films, while he himself has named artists Elton John, Alice Cooper, Queen, and KISS as his influences. His musical incorporates various elements of alternative metal and heavy metal, and has been described to mix metal with hypnotic, industrial rhythm and haunting sounds along with distinctive vocals, a killer plot and a very complex beat. His songs have often featured samples and quotes from classic horror movies, especially his debut album Hellbilly Deluxe which includes quotes from horror thrillers like Mark the Devil, Last House on Left, and Satanic Rituals of Dracula. His music essentially explores his fascination with pummeling grooves, psychotic noises, and all possible horrific things including campy samples.
