San Francisco-based alternative metal performers Primus released their debut album Frizzle Fry in 1990. It received a relatively modest response. That changed with the release of album number two the following year.

Titled Sailing the Seas of Cheese, it achieved lots of commercial success and was ultimately certified Platinum by the RIAA. Moreover, it also earned a Grammy nomination for “Best Surround Sound Album.”

This propelled the band firmly into the limelight. Buoyed by the success of their second album, Primus set to work on a third one. It duly came out in 1993 and continued on the path of success carved out by its predecessor. Named Pork Soda, the album became the group’s first to break into the top 10 of the US Billboard 200.

All in all, Primus have released close to a dozen full-length studio albums till now. Other successful ones include Tales from the Punchbowl, Brown Album, Green Naugahyde, etc. The multiple Grammy-nominated trio is all set to deliver some exhilarating stage performances during The Final Campaign Tour.
