Destined to Be a Musician
Wallen was born in 1993 in Sneedville, Tennessee. He developed an inclination towards music at a young age; he started singing at the church at three and started learning how to play the violin at five. He also learned to play the guitar and the piano, but his real passion was baseball. Unfortunately, he suffered an elbow injury in his senior year, because of which he had to end his days as a pitcher. After this injury, he decided to pursue a career in music.

Soon after, he landed a contract with Big Loud Records and released his debut track called ‘The Way I Talk.’ He then went on to release his debut album, If I Know Me, in 2018 and collaborated with Florida Georgia for the track ‘Up Down.’ It was this song that propelled Wallen to superstar status. After this track became his first #1 single, he released his biggest hit to date: ‘Whiskey Glasses.’ This single made its way to the Top 20 on Billboard’s all genre charts and topped the Country Charts.
