Since the album didn’t do well, they were dropped by the label.
Big Career Moments
The band members returned as Maroon 5 in 2001, and recruited Valentine as a guitarist. They landed a recording deal with called Octone Records which was an independent record label. Its lead single ‘Makes Me Wonder’ became a fan favorite and received heavy airplay. The group then released their third album titled Hands All Over, in 2010. The record received mixed reviews when it came out and was re-released the next year to include the hit track ‘Moves like Jagger.’ The band later released Overexposed in 2012, which produced the chart-topper ‘One More Night.’
