Renowned music artist Lauren Daigle will be performing at The Resch Center as part of her first tour as an arena headliner. The opening act for the show is the husband-wife duo of Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano – Johnnyswim. The28-year old singer has played seventy successful shows since the release of her 2018 record titled Look Up Child. The album debuted at the third spot on the US Billboard 200. Daigle bagged two prestigious Grammys recently; one in the ‘Best Contemporary Christian Music Album’ category for Look Up Child while the other for ‘Contemporary Christian Music Performance’  for her mega hit single You Say. About the Singer

Lauren Daigle was born in Lafayette, Louisiana in September 1991. With a natural interest in music, as a child Lauren would sing all day long in her house which is why her mother dubbed it ‘The music box.’ But Daigle had never thought of taking up music as a career. It was when she went ill and was out of school for about two years that she found the time to realize her potential and hone her skills. She later went on to get a degree in Child and Family Studies from the Louisiana State University but music remained her top priority.

Lauren Daigle rose to prominence with her debut studio record How Can It Be. The album topped the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart and gave hits such as Trust in You, O’ Lord and First. She further cemented her status in the music industry with the album Look Up Child. The record hit the number one position on the Top Christian Albums chart and went on to become the highest charting Christian studio record by a female singer in more than twenty years. Look Up Child and its single You Say won Daigle two prestigious Grammys.
