Kim Petras began pursuing music in 2014 and uploaded a song on her Soundcloud page entitled, STFU which was produced by Aaron Joseph and The Stereotypes. Three years later, she issued her debut single, I Don’t Want It All as a professional singer-songwriter which entered the Dance Club Songs chart at the 54th spot. Produced by Dr. Luke, Cirkut and Joseph, the song peaked atop the Spotify Global Viral Top 50 and received favorable response from AllMusic, Noisey and Entertainment Weekly. She also released the music video of this track which featured a cameo appearance from Paris Hilton.

Turn Off the Light, Vol. 1

On October 1, 2018, Kim Petras issued new music in the form of her latest EP, ‘Turn Off the Light, Vol. 1’ which reached 21st spot on the Heatseekers Albums chart. It was also placed at the 13th spot by Idolator in its list of the, ‘Top 20 Best EPs, Mixtapes and Playlists of 2018.’ She is now scheduled to drop her follow-up EP, ‘Turn Off the Light, Vol. 2’ on October 1, 2019 and will also be touring the States in support of this extended play.
