The famous K-Pop girl group, Blackpink is all set to hit the road with their upcoming North American trek. The famous all-girl K-pop group, Blackpink dropped its first studio album, ‘In Your Area’ on December 5, 2018. They have now announced their plan to support this record on the road and will soon be playing a number of shows in North America as part of their, ‘In Your Area Tour.’ The girls will kick off the trek by playing their first show at The Forum in Los Angeles on April 17, 2019. From there, they will take the tour to Chicago, Hamilton, Newark, Atlanta before concluding their road trip by performing its final show at the Fort Worth Convention Center on May 8, 2019. Rise to Fame

Formed by the YG Entertainment, the South Korean girl group comprises of Lisa, Jisoo, Rose and Jennie. Blackpink entered the music scene with their hit song “Whistle”. Their single “Boombayah” ranked atop the Billboard World Digital Songs chart and also holds a record of “most viewed debut music video by a Korean group”.

Blackpink came up with their debut EP “Square Up” in June 2018. The leading single “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” landed them on the Official Trending Charts in the United Kingdom hitting the 17^th spot. They were also the first female K-Pop group to be a part of the chart’s ranking. The EP received critical acclaim and topped the Billboard World Albums chart and the Goan Albums chart in South Korea.
