The Attacca Quartet at present is the Juilliard Graduate Resident String Quartet. It is represented by Columbia Artists Management on an international level by Inc. The quartet consists of professional players such as Amy Schroeder who plays violin and is a Juilliard School graduate in Music degrees. She is also one of the founding members of the quartet.
Amy Schroeder has performed with various well-known orchestras over the years. She has also been seen in a wide selection of festivals and thus made a mark for her impressive performances. Ms. Schroeder has won a number of awards including the Ithaca College Solo Strings Competition. She stood first in the Geneseo College Solo Strings Competition, the Ziegle Jr. Scholarship and the Erie County Music Educator’s Scholarship.
Luke Fleming is another performer of the quartet who made his debut in New York in 2009. The performance was given in front of a houseful venue. Luke Fleming is a violist who has made gained recognition as a chamber and exceptional recitalist. Luke joined the highly praised Attacca Quartet orchestra in 2009 and currently is a candidate for Juilliard School Artist Diploma.
He recently appeared in concerts including performances at the Steans Institute, and Marlboro Music School among many other venues as well as festivals and concerts. He has also taken parts in concerts and festivals in various countries like Japan, Australia, Korea, England, Poland, Denmark, Spain, Germany Mexico and Austria. Luke has performed with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Ensemble ACJW, Sejong Soloists and Georgian Chamber Players among many more, as a guest musician.
Keiko Tokunaga is the Attacca Quartet’s violinist. She has already well established her reputation as a solo artist as well as a chamber musician all over North America, Japan, Italy and Mexico. She is the winner of several prestigious prizes and serves as a guest musician at the Port Townsend Chamber Music Festival and Hunter College of New York. Keiko has performed as a chamber musician as well as individually in major venues.
Keiko gave her first recital at Ohji Hall, Tokyo in 2009. Andrew Yee is the quartet’s Cello artist and has been appreciated as "spellbindingly virtuosic" by London Telegraph’s Michael Kennedy. Andrew Yee is the Attacca Quartet’s founding member and also a Juilliard School graduate. Andrew Yee has made appearances with the International Soloists. Yee has played solo as well as chamber music recitals all over United States. Many of his engagements include Terrace Theatre, Millennium stages and the Concert Hall. Andrew has also performed in a number of well-known festivals and major venues that include solo performances of Vivaldi’s Concerto for two cellos, Dvorak’s Cello Concerto and Popper’s Hungarian Rhapsody.
