About the Band

5 Seconds of Summer, stylized as 5SOS was formed in 2011 when the band members, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Luke Hemmings began posting videos of their songs on YouTube. They did covers of popular songs, such as “Please Don’t Go” by Mike Posner and Chris Brown’s “Next To You”. Soon they were joined by Ashton Irwin, completing their lineup.
