Montreal is a city in Canada, located in the province of Quebec. The city is counted as Canada’s second largest city and the largest in the province of Quebec. Resting picturesquely on the island of Montreal, the city takes its name from Mount Royal, a hill with three peaks in the center of the city. It is one of the most famous landmarks of Montreal. The primary language in the region is French, while some percentage of the people speaks English as well.
There are several observation points from where tourists can look at the city. Apart from the top of one of the skyscrapers, people can climb to the tower of the Notre-Dame-de-Bonsekur Church, which is notable for its splendid architecture. The observatory in the Church tower allows one to explore the nearby neighborhood of Montreal and catch glimpses of Montreal’s Main Square.
