ASU Academics
In 1909, ASU started off as an agricultural training school and in 1967, it gained the status of a university. In 1955, Arkansas State University initiated its masters program and since then has continued growing. Today, it is counted as the second largest institute in the state that offers graduate and undergraduate degrees through its ten different colleges. Its programs are accredited with 20 different sources that has helped build its reputation as a very credible and institute offering quality education. Most popular majors pursued at Arkansas State University include finance, accounting, business administration, psychology, nursing, psychology and biology.
Along with on campus studies, ASU now also focuses on extending its reach to students unable to pursue the programs due to geographical constraints. With over 130 online courses that also includes degree programs, its students can avail the benefits of a college education. The college also offers more than 180 evening classes for people who cannot take regular classes.
