Pepsi Coliseum was previously known as The Barn and Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum, the history of this venue dates back to the late 30’s as it opened its gate for audience in the year 1939. For seven years it was the home of famous basketball team Indiana Pacer from the year 1967 to 1974, some other teams for whom this stadium has served as a home arena include Indianapolis Ice, Indianapolis Capitals and Indianapolis Checkers. The Capitals was one team that played at this arena for the most years from 1939 to 1952.
