Georgia Dome underwent renovations in 2006, when Georgia World Congress Center Authority and Atlanta Falcons decided on a thirty million dollar renovation project, which comprised of two phases; the first phase concentrated on improving the significant seating areas that involved the construction of an owners’ club and a few super-suites, which were completed within a year. The second phase comprised of plans to improve the exterior of the building, which was painted again such that is would coordinate with the Falcons’ colors. Also, the Dome’s original teal-colored seats were taken off in place of which red seats were planted. Other extensive changes were made that included the repairing of the roof and the Dome itself.
