It took six years of extreme hard work to get the job done and the venue opened its doors for the general public for the first time in 1988. On 11th July that year Dan Fogelberg took to its stage for the first time to headline the facility’s first ever performance.
It was named the Fiddlers Green Amphitheatre at the time of its opening which was then changed to Coors Amphitheatre in the year 1995. It went back to its original name in the year 2003. Comfort Dental then stepped in and signed a contract to buy naming rights in 2010. That agreement remained in place for three years before it once again reverted to its first name.
The Fiddlers Green Amphitheatre can play host to an impressive eighteen thousand fans at a time. Seven thousand and five hundred of the total seating capacity consists of fixed seats whereas the remaining number is catered to by lawn seating.
