With the total cost of $14.7 Million, major additions and renovations were made to the theatre to upgrade it to an even better venue for various kinds of live events. After going through a number of changes, Bass Concert Hall now stands as a world class performing arts venue located within the city of Austin. These renovations were in need to better cater the needs of the touring production as well as other major productions. With the completion of this up gradation process, the concert hall will offer even better acoustics, expanded atrium and lobby, increased number of bars, concession areas as well as the restrooms and a completely new style of decoration for the hall’s flooring and sidewalls. The Bass Concert hall also features a café located within the facility that provides a full table service to all the patrons prior to the commencement of any performance. The café offers a wide variety of pizza, salads, cheese plates and distinguished type of desserts.
