1Stbank Center opened its doors to public on March 5, 2010 by featuring Phil Lesh and Bob Weir of the 2009 rock band, Furthur in a live concert performance. Formerly known as the Broomfield Event Center, the multi-purpose facility hosts a number of sports events, family shows and concerts every year. Located in Broomfield, Colorado, the mid-sized venue has a capacity to house nearly sixty five hundred people.

The venue is powered by Peak Entertainment which is a partnership between AEG Live Rocky Mountains and Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, the two leading entertainment companies in Colorado. The country’s second-largest concert touring company, AEG Live enjoys a good international reputation and local presence in San Diego, Las Vegas, New York, London, Houston, Nashville, Dallas and several other regions.
The ownership of Pepsi Center, the Paramount Theater and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park also makes Kroenke Sports & Entertainment one of the world’s largest possession groups. KSE also owns a television network titled Altitude Sports & Entertainment and a ticket providing service called TicketHorse that sells tickets for all KSE venues and teams.
While 1Stbank Center Formerly The Broomfield Event Center might not be your favorite place to see a concert but it is definitely not the worst place in Denver. The venue has amazing acoustics and fantastic lighting to provide an experience of its kind to the concert attendees. No matter where you sit, you will have a clear view of the stage because the seats are lined in a semi-circle.
1Stbank Center Formerly The Broomfield Event Center does not handle meet-and-greet with the band or the artists. Only the respective fan clubs and record companies can allow the artists’ access to the audience. You can bring small, personal cameras to the events; however, the camera policy is subject to change based on the performing artists. The age limitations also vary by concerts and other special events but the audiences two years of age and above are required to have 1Stbank Center Formerly The Broomfield Event Center tickets.
The facility also has special concession stands that offer burgers, veggie burgers, burritos, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and pizza among other items. The staff and food vendors are friendly, helpful and look pleased to actually be at work. These vendors accept cash, American Express, Visa, Discover and Master Card for anything you purchase. Other than that, 1Stbank Center allows smoking only in restricted areas. Its main smoking area is located outside Club 36 on the North side of the facility.
