Scar is a perfect example of an archetypical baddie despised by the jungle at large. All his life he has loathed Mufasa for being the king and his jealousy ultimately makes him kill Mufasa. Simba, too naïve and scared with this unanticipated situation, exiles himself leaving behind Scar as the rightful candidate for the throne.
