Performed by the company named Circle of Eleven, Leo is a live show that features an hour long gravity-breaking performance. The production brings an entirely new concept on stage, where the actor is trapped inside a small room, and the laws of gravity are close to being non-existent. The performance provides the audience with a surreal experience in which they begin to question their state of being. Whether they are up or actually down? It not only questions the laws of gravity, but also challenges the audience's perceptions and senses, pushing their minds to question the facts. This physical theatrical show has received much deserved critical acclaim throughout Berlin and New York. How this actually works is a quite clever idea. The audiences are presented with two actors; one is the actual Tobias Wegner while the other one is a projection which rests in centre stage. The gravity defiance is carried out through video projective illusions in which the video avatar's image is change and rotated. The show starts off very normally, in which the actor is seen walking across the room, carrying a suitcase in his hand. He seems to be waiting for something or just killing time, when all of a sudden he realizes that he has supernatural abilities. He start climbing up the walls and presents his first anti-gravitational act on Frank Sinatra's record; 'I've got the World on a String'. The choreography of the show has been handled by Juan Kruz Diaz; a former member of Sasha Waltz's ensemble. If you have a keen eye for the creative arts, then this act is perfect for you. He creates a sitting area with room for two, a table with wine on it; however, his frustration is clearly depicted as he has no one with him. He tries to chalk himself out of the room, but after a few unsuccessful attempts feels stuck.
