Running for two years at New York City’s Lambs Theater, it received praise from both press and public. This musical’s songs were released by Jay Records in 2003 and they were also added to Hal Leonard’s ‘Off-Broadway Songbook’. Another one of Berg’s hit compositions is his latest musical, ‘Grumpy Old Men’, which is actually based on a Warner Brothers movie. His other musical productions include ‘The Man Who Would be King’, ‘Hexed in the City’, ‘Tim and Scrooge’, ‘Heidi’, ‘Threads’, ‘Percy Penguin’ and ‘Fiona: The Mother Goose Musical’. ‘Tim and Scrooge’ and ‘The Man Who Would be King’ have been selected for NY’s famous Musical Theater Festival. 101 Years of Broadway is originally based on Berg’s previous production ‘100 Years of Broadway.’ He created and co-produced the earlier show that became the top touring concert in American Broadway. During the two years, 2010 and 2011, it was shown in more than 120 American cities. Liz Callaway, Ben Vereen Alex Santoriello and Betty Buckley are some of the artists who were part of this famous musical.  
 
101 Years of Broadway will be playing in theatres in 2013. Berg has used imagination and creativity to recreate some of Broadway’s finest productions and bring together their cherished moments in one show. Stars of evergreen plays like ‘Evita’, ‘Fiddler’, ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘Wonderful Town’ have been featured in this production that celebrates Broadway’s journey over the years. Neil is also the owner of the famous Leftfield Productions and his Broadway productions have exceeded one thousand. The talented artists he has worked with include Rita Moreno, Michael Crawford, Ben Vereen, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Betty Buckley, Donna McKechnie, Mark Kudisch, Liz Callaway, Sir Cliff Richard, Bernadette Peters, Stephanie Block and Alice Ripley. Berg has composed the concert versions of many Broadway musicals such as ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, ‘The Mystery of Edwin Drood’, ‘Chess’ and Lucy Simon’s ‘The Secret Garden’. Berg’s fame doesn’t stop here. He was also China Club’s Artistic Director in NYC. For more than twenty years, he has had the role of Entertainment Coordinator and Musical Director for charitable organizations like ‘The Leukemia Society of America’ and ‘Covenant House’. Other than that, his productions for corporate events are for companies like Marriott Corporation, The United Hospice Organization, Goldman Sachs, John Hancock, IBM, The American Red Cross, Deloitte Touche and Paine Webber.
 
His list of awards includes many honorable titles. In 2001, he was titled ‘The American Red Cross Man of the Year’ for Rockland County. The United Hospice Foundation also awarded him the same title in 2003. Rockland County’s Art Council named him ‘Artist of the Year’ in 2008. In 2010, The Rockland Family Shelter gave him the ‘Distinguished Citizen’s Award’ for the work he did for mistreated women. This year, he earned the prestigious Ellis Island ‘Medal of Honor’ with other prominent people like Brooke Shields, Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio.
 
Berg’s work is not limited or confined and he has worked with the American rock and roll band, Joe D’Urso & Stone Caravan. He has performed in seven of their records, accompanied them on their U.S tour and also performed with them on Harley Davidson’s 100^th Anniversary. Berg also co-owns a theater camp, ‘Broadway Theater Workshops,’ that is designed for instructing around two hundred budding artists from New Jersey every year.
