Washington Capitals Ottawa Tickets

If you’re a Caps fan, then head on over to the Canadian Tire Center, because that is where the next game is. The Canadian Tire Center, of course, is the home of the Ottawa Senators. Statistically, the Caps are a much stronger team than the Senators. Overall, they’ve won 47 games against the Senators, lost 41 and tied 5 games. Their home record is really impressive against the Senators with 29 wins and 15 losses. However, since the Caps will be playing in Ottawa and given their away statistics, Caps fans would be anxious. If you want to cheer for your favorite ice hockey team, then get your Washington Capitals Ottawa tickets today, before they’re all sold out.

Caps fans would remember that with the induction of players like Mike Green, Nicklas Bäckström and Alexander Ovechkin, the Caps are a whole new and different team. While Green isn’t in Washington anymore, the other two still are.

The Washington Capitals

Founded in 1974, the Washington Capitals or Caps have been based in the nation’s capital ever since their formation. A member of the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference, Caps play their home games at the Verizon Center. They have won 9 division championships, 1 conference championship and 2 Presidents’ Trophies. They are also the reigning Presidents’ Trophy champions. What they haven’t won, however, is the coveted Stanley Cup.

The Ottawa Senators

The Senators play in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the NHL. Founded in 1992, there are similarities between the Senators and Caps. Like the Caps, the Senators, too, haven’t won the Stanley Cup. They have however won 4 division championships, 1 conference championship and 1 Presidents’ Trophy. The franchise has gotten close to winning their first Stanley Cup when they appeared in 2007 Stanley Cup Finals. Daniel Alfredsson, a winger for the Senators, was largely responsible for this.

The Capitals-Senators game will be held at the Canadian Tire Center. This indoor arena has the seating capacity of 18,694. Since the seats are limited, therefore you need to get your Washington Capitals Ottawa tickets now. The ice hockey season has once again reached feverish pitch in Canada and therefore don’t expect these tickets to last for long.
