2015 Women’s World Cup champs, team United States is currently in a celebratory mode, playing friendly matches against some of the top teams. The national team is on a Victory Tour which includes 10 matches, celebrating their success this summer in Canada. The tour opened with a match against Costa Rica and the US national team played in front of 45,000 fans, which alone was a record. According to the US Soccer, it was the most attended stand-alone international friendly game in the history of the women’s team. They are now gearing up for another exciting friendly faceoff that will pit them against Brazil. Taking place at the CenturyLink Field on October 21, fans are rushing for the United States Seattle tickets as they don’t want to miss the live action.

World Champs Embark on a Victory Tour - United States Seattle Tickets in Demand                      

Following their historic run to the world title at the 2015 Women’s World Cup in Canada, the USA Women’s National Team has hit the road on a 10-game Victory Tour. The cross country trek started from Pittsburgh on August 16, in which the in-form team convincingly defeated Costa Rica. They are now set to play Brazil on October 21 and celebrate the success with the fans.

The friendly matches will serve dual purpose, as they will not just give the fans a chance to rejoice but will also prepare the national team for the 2016 CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament.

The World Cup Final, USA vs. Japan was watched by an average 25.4 million viewers. USA’s 5-2 victory over Japan became the most watched soccer match in the US history.

  • Team USA set another record by scoring the most goals in the WWC Final, as the previous record was 2 goals. They surpassed it with 5 goals.
  • USA is the only team to have made it to every semi-final so far on the WWC. 2015 was the 7th edition of this grand tournament and team USA made it to 7 semi-finals.  
  • USA has played 4 World Cup Finals and is the only team to have appeared this many times. Germany is second in line with 3 appearances.
