Bolts were finally in the shape to get some good wins in 2003-2004 and they did it. Despite many rumors and bad predictions, the team won their first Stanley Cup by defeating Philadelphia Flyers after a tough game. Bolts were too busy celebrating their victory to focus on their game again. Its performance fell from bad to worse and the team was once again sold. Tampa Bay Lightning is now owned by Jeff Vinik.

Team’s recent performance has been very bad as they have been unable to qualify for the playoffs once again. The hopes this time are high that the management changes will bring some improvement and stability in team’s performance.
