Old Dominion Philadelphia Tickets

Old Dominion is a county band hailing from Nashville. The band was initially signed on to ReeSmack Records, but now their record label is RCA Nashville. Formed in 2007, the five member group plays contemporary country music, which has undertones of hip hop and pop. The band released their debut album in November 2015 and is currently touring alongside country stars Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert on the Spread the Love Tour. The tour’s next stop is the Lincoln Financial Field and you can catch all three artists, live on one stage, by simply getting Old Dominion Philadelphia tickets at your earliest.

Old Dominion is a five member ensemble and comprises lead vocalist Mathew Ramsey, lead guitarist Trevor Rosen, rhythm guitarist Brad Tursi, bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer Whit Sellers.

Early Career:

During its initial years, the main purpose of the band was to showcase songs that had been written by the group’s individual members. Most of the band’s members had written songs for other artists, like, Ramsey was a co-writer on the The Band Perry’s hit, “Chainsaw” and Rosen had co-written Chris Young’s hit, “Neon.”

The band’s first song, which gained prominence, was “Dirt on the Road.” It received significant airplay and introduced the band to the mainstream public. Their single “Shut Me Up” was another success and they were asked to open for established acts like Chase Rice, Jack Owen and Alabama.

Meat and Candy

Old Dominion released an eponymous EP in October 2014. The EP spawned the hit songs, “Shut Me Up” and “Break Up with Him.” As a result, the band received an offer from RCA Nashville and they signed with the label in February 2015.

The group released their debut album, Meat and Candy, in November 2016. The album’s led single “Break Up with Him” reached number one on the Country Airplay chart, while the second single, “Snapback” reached number two on the same chart. The album itself reached number three on the US Country chart.

You can now catch the “Shut Me Up” hit-makers live in concert alongside Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert by getting Old Dominion Philadelphia tickets.
