Hence the new franchise from New Orleans was named the Saints. They played their first season in 1967 in the Eastern Conference. Three years later they moved to the National Football Conference and are currently members of the same conference. They play alongside the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC South. Get New Orleans Saints Chicago tickets and watch the team play live.

The New Orleans Saints are headquartered in Metairie, Louisiana. Their head coach is Patrick Sean Payton, who got the job with the team in 2006. Payton is the tenth hiring by the Saints for the position of head coach. In the wake of hurricane Katrina in 2005, the Saints were floundering in the bottom of the rankings. Payton turned the team around and inspired the Saints to their first playoff in six years. The Saints won the NFC South in 2006 and achieved the same feat three years later in 2009.

Unlike in 2006, the Saints won the NFC Conference Championship game to land a spot for themselves in the Super Bowl XLIV (2009). The Saints won their first ever Super Bowl that year. In total, the Saints have accumulated five division titles, a conference title and the prized Super Bowl. Get New Orleans Saints Chicago tickets and watch the Saints at the Soldier Field Stadium in Chicago, as they play against the Chicago Bears. Chicago, nicknamed “The windy city”, is ranked after New York City and Los Angeles as being the most populous city in America. A huge spectator turnout can be expected in the sports loving city of Chicago.

The Saints concluded their last season winning eleven games and reaching eight wins at home without a loss. Their reunion with coach Payton, who was suspended for the 2012 season following the bounty scandal, wielded immediate results. They got second place in the NFC South. This season with Payton again at the helm, the Saints will be looking to improve their performance.
