Montreal Impact Montreal Tickets

The Montreal Impact joined the MLS in the year 2010 and have had a decent run in the league since then. Yes, it could have been better but at the same time, it could have been much worse too. The Impact will be looking to make the leap this term and join the ranks of the most formidable sides in the MLS. The support they get from their fans will play an important role in boosting the morale of the players. If you want to see your team make an impact this season, then book your Montreal Impact Montreal tickets and root for them at the Stade Saputo.

Support from the fans will be very important for the Montreal Impact this season, especially at home. If their fans turn up in big numbers to support them, then that will go a long way in helping them make an impact.

The Early Years

The Montreal Impact might have been incepted in 2010 but they did not start playing immediately. They took to the field for the first time on March 10, 2012 against their Canadian rivals, the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Impact unfortunately lost the game 2-0. Then the next week they took on the Chicago Fire in their first ever home game and that clash ended in a 1-1 draw. In their first season they did not make it to the MLS playoffs.

The Impact then went 14-13-7 in the 2013 campaign and went on to win the Canadian Championship. They also qualified for the MLS playoffs and the CONCACAF Champions League.

Run to the CONCACAF Champions League Final

In 2014, the Montreal Impact failed to qualify for the playoffs but still won the Canadian Championship. It was however in the Champions League where they made their presence count. They went all the way to the final of the tournament where they lost to Club America. The Impact became the first side from Canada to reach the final and the second MLS franchise overall to achieve the feat.

They have made it to the Conference Semifinal and to the Conference Final since then but have not won the title. Will this be the year when that jinx ends? Book your Montreal Impact Montreal tickets and watch them live in action at the Saputo Stadium.
