Representing the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, Michigan Wolverines are among the 27 varsity teams that play for the University of Michigan. Boasting of a stellar football program, the team has the record of the most wins with 11 National titles. In 1879 the Wolverines played their first season and since then have been dominating in the college football program. In all these years the team has produced many standout players who have also made it to the College Football Hall of Fame. The Maize N` Blue have a passionate fan following and these supporters flock to all of their games, posting record breaking attendance figures. The team play their home games at the Michigan Stadium and on game night the arena is full to its capacity. The Wolverines are known for their fight song “The Victors” and the amazing ambiance it creates when performed by the Michigan Marching Band.

2015 Football Preview

Team Michigan will be playing the upcoming season with a solid defense. Last season the Wolverines ended up being on 7th position nationally in total defense and this year will be returning to the field with a seasoned depth significant to all three levels. The heartbeat of the defense resides in Joe Bolden and he is ready to play some quality football following an injury.
