The logo first saw a surge in popularity when the Heat made it to the NBA finals for the first time in 2006. They were pitted against the Dallas Mavericks. The team had to wait for six years before they would win another championship. In 2012 the Miami Heat boasted the ‘Big Three’ of Chris Bosh, LeBron James and local favorite Dwyane Wade. They played against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals and won their second NBA Championship in 2012. During the middle of 2012, Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis joined the Heat’s squad to make the unit one of the most formidable teams in the NBA.

With such as star studded lineup, winning another NBA Championships was not a question of ‘if’, rather it was a question of ‘when?’ The very next year the Heat won their second consecutive and third overall NBA Championship, when they defeated the Spurs.

The Heat had a terrific last season in which they added another Division title and Conference title to their already large tally of crowns. It was their third consecutive division and conference title. Fans will be hoping to see their good form continue in 2015 as well.
