Louisville Cardinals Raleigh Tickets
The Louisville Cardinals represent the University of Louisville’s athletic program. The program joined the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) in 2014, after previously being a part of the Big East Conference. The Cardinals were hugely successful in the Big East, winning fifty championships in the conference. Now members of the ACC, the Cardinals will look to maintain that level of success, especially when they come up against conference rivals. Interestingly, their next fixture is against a conference rival, the North Carolina State Wolfpack. To catch games from this fixture live, get Louisville Cardinals Raleigh tickets now.
A period of success for the Cardinals
The Cardinals have been one of the most successful collegiate teams in recent years. Since 2000, they are the only NCAA Division I team to win a BCS Bowl game, to appear in the College World Series, to win the Men’s Basketball College championship and to appear in the Women’s basketball Final Four. The Cardinals are also one of six teams to have multiple appearances in a BCS bowl game, the women’s and men’s basketball Final Four and the College World Series; and the school achieved all this in a mere seven years, which is the shortest among all the schools (2006-2013).
The 2012-2013 season was the most successful for the program as a whole, as the Cardinals played in the Women’s and Men’s basketball Final Four, appeared in a BCS bowl game and the College World Series as well.
Fixture against the North Carolina State Wolfpack
For their upcoming fixture, the Cardinals travel to Raleigh to take on the NC Wolfpack. The Wolfpack will welcome the Cardinals’ football team at the Carter-Finley Stadium, the Basketball team at the PNC Arena and the baseball team at the Doak Field. The rest of the games will be played at the Reynolds Coliseum. Both teams are ACC rivals, should know what to expect from each other.
