Los Angeles Angels Tickets

Los Angeles Angels were founded in 1961 and they are a member of the Major League Baseball (MLB) and play in the American League’s West Division. The team is headquartered in the city of Anaheim and plays all the home games at the very spacious Angel Stadium of Anaheim also nicknamed "The Big A" since 1966. They are nicknamed The Halos, Los Angelinos, Angels or simply Angels Baseball. The team’s official colors are Midnight Blue, White and Carnelian. The mascot of Angels of Anaheim is the Rally Monkey which normally appears at those games where the game is tied in the 7th inning or if they are losing a game. A white-haired capuchin monkey called Katie has been hired and this monkey can be seen in videos where it is jumping to the beats of the song "Jump Around" composed by the group House of Pain.

Like all other teams, Angels of Anaheim also have famous and furious rivalries with other name of baseball such as Oakland Athletics, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. Angels of Anaheim has developed certain traditions over the past years. Famous song "Build Me Up Buttercup" made by The Foundations is played in every home game that stretches to the seventh inning. Popular single by the alternative rock band Train called "Calling All Angels" is played whenever Los Angeles Anaheim are about to play a game. The Angels have constructed a big 230 feet tall A which has a halo on the top which has lights in it, whenever the Angels win a game this halo lights up and is commonly referred as "Light Up the Halo!".

A special "Break Out the Red Week" is celebrated normally once a year at the end of late summer. This event is held at the Angel Stadium where all the fans are invited to come in red clothes or uniform similar to the Angels to celebrate the day and fans wearing the most extravagant dress are given prizes. The Angels have also made a small artificial volcanic mountain at a place in the Angel Stadium popularly known as "California Spectacular", before and after winning a game or a home run this mountain shoots fireworks and geysers in the air.

Los Angeles Anaheim won the World Series title in 2002, in this year they stood 2nd in the Division and were simply unbeatable as they defeated old rivals New York Yankees, Minnesota  Twins and went on to defeat the San Francisco Giants 4-3 in the finals. Since 2004 they have stood first in the Division four times. In 2009 they lost the American League Champion Series to New York Yankees 4-2. Famous players like Eddie Murray, Reggie Jackson, Nolan Ryan, Eddie Murray, Rod Carew and Frank Robinson have been inducted in the prestigious Baseball Hall of Fame.

Angels of Anaheim are bent upon displaying their immense potential in the upcoming match and they have set their eyes on yet another World Series title. If you are looking for a thrilling match of baseball then you better get your Los Angeles Angels Tickets only from us as we give you value for your money!

Fans of the Anaheim Angels were left disappointed when the team ended the 2016 MLB season with a 74-88 record. Even more frustrating was the fact that the side has the best baseball player Mike Trout in their lineup. But there is so much that a player can do for the team. Losing starting pitchers such as Andrew Heaney and Garret Richards to season-ending injuries early on in the campaign was a setback for the side. Now with an improved roster, the team is heading into the spring training 2017 for which a total of 26 non-roster players have been invited. These include LHP John Lamb and RHP Justin Miller.

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Rivals

Texas Rangers

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Texas Rangers have a very serious rivalry. The two sides have been fighting for division dominance for quite a few years and now that players have moved from one side to the other, the animosity has simply grown. It does not look as if temperatures are going to cool down anytime soon between these two great rivals.

Los Angeles Dodgers

The games between the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Los Angeles Dodgers are dubbed the "Freeway Series." The reason of this rivalry is pretty obvious. Both sides belong to the same city and the fan base is split between the two. Every time the Angels and the Dodgers play, fireworks are guaranteed.

New York Yankees

The rivalry between the Angels and the Yankees stems from the multiple heated exchanges players of both teams have had over the years. More than one of those scrimmages have happened in the postseason. The rivalry got fierce even in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In 1998, there were fears among the Yankees, that the Angels might knockoff the Yankees in the Division Series but the Yankees eventually won. The Angels however returned the favor by beating the Yankees in the ALDS four years later. It has just carried on from there.

LOS ANGELES ANGELS NEWS AND UPDATES

Mike Trout might be back in time for the All-Star game

Mike Trout might just be able to return in time for the MLB All-Star game. He underwent surgery on May 31st to take care of the ligament damage to his left thumb and as a result of that, he was expected to be out of action for six to eight weeks. The Angels are wary of rushing him back early so they will not be taking any chances, that is for sure. Trout however will be keen to return to action but he will have to have about two to three days of batting practice and will have to take part in a few minor league games to prove his fitness first.

Mike Trout will be out of action for 6-8 weeks

There is some really bad news for the Los Angeles Angels. The news has just come in that Mike Trout, the Angels’ outfielder will be out of action for a considerable period of time.

The current AL MVP has injured UCL in his left thumb and he will now be out of action between 6-8 weeks. Trout being out of action is very bad news indeed for the Angels who haven’t had a great season uptil now as it is. Trout is a special talent and now that he is injured, it will be very tough for the franchise to replace him.

Testimonials

  • I was really running out of options with where to take my girlfriend on our first anniversary when I found out that you guys still had tickets for the Elton John show, even when the venue showed they were sold out! I would just like to thank you guys for being there and making this a really special day for us both!

  • I don't usually write these for websites but your service has made me want to really commend what a great job you people are doing. Thanks to Josh, I found tickets for exactly where I wanted to sit and he even chucked in a nice discount for me! Three cheers guys!

  • I would just like to drop in a word to appreciate the friendly and polite customer service I have received from your representatives. They made it really easy for me to find the right tickets and even suggested where I should sit and what time I should get to the venue! Keep up the good work!
