David Feherty has had quite an illustrious career. During his years as a professional golfer, Feherty has been able to bag five European Tour wins, and five other wins. The other wins include the 1980 Irish PGA Championship, the 1982 Irish PGA Championship, the 1984 ICL International, the 1988 South African PGA Championship and the 1992’s Bell’s Cup in South Africa.
David Feherty – From the Golf Course to Television, Books and Magazines
After retiring from golf in 1997, Feherty joined CBS Sports. He also began contributing to various sports related publications, such as the Golf Magazine, in which he has his own special section called Sidespin. David Feherty has also authored four best-selling books by the standards of The New York Times and Booksense. These books are A Nasty Bit of Rough, Somewhere in Ireland a Village Is Missing an Idiot, An Idiot for All Seasons and David Feherty’s Totally Subjective History of the Ryder Cup. In addition to that, Feherty now also has his own primetime talk show called Feherty, on the Golf Channel.
He also serves as the co-announcer on Tiger Woods PGA Tour series on EA Sports, alongside Jim Nantz. He makes periodic appearances on the sports radio of Dallas, KTCK. Feherty left CBS in August 2015, after his final event with them, called The Barclays. In September of the same year, it was announced that he would be moving to NBC Sports and the Golf Channel for full-time starting in 2016. The role he serves here is similar to that he did at CBS. This deal also involves a renewed contract for his show, Feherty, on the Golf Channel. Along with that, the deal included a first-look development deal with Universal Television and the option for the two to collaborate on various projects, including some not relevant to golf.

This would be followed by a performance at the Pantages Theater in Tacoma on the 15th of November, and then one at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco on 16th November. The last of these shows will take place at the Newmark Theater on 17th November, 2017 in Portland, Oregon.
