Formed in 1926, the Chicago White Sox were one of the charter members of the NHL. During their early years, the team had a somewhat okay, start until, 1934, then they won their first Stanley Cup. The franchise built upon that success and won their
second championship in 1938. The Hawks had to wait more than twenty years for their next Stanley Cup, which came in 1960.

It seemed as though the historic win opened a flood gate of sorts for the Blackhawks. They won their fifth Stanley Cup two seasons later along with the President’s Trophy. Their sixth Stanley Cup came a season later in 2015.
