Season 1991 saw a dramatic finale with Nigel Mansell’s Williams failing on just the last lap while Alain Prost won 1993 event. In the end of 2008, Canadian Grand Prix was dropped from 2009 Formula Calendar. However in the end of 2009 Formula one Administration signed a five year contract with Canadian Grand Prix organizers. The 2011 event was the longest ever formula one race to date, delayed for hours due to rainstorms.
Canadian Grand Prix races consist of 70 laps and circuit has a length of 4.361 km. With the start of the race, the cars race against each other and exhibit their set of skills, speed and tactics. The drivers may make pit stops to change tyres, repair damage and maximize the car’s potential.
