The Boston Red Sox won the World Series in the year 2013 and most people thought that triumph would herald the arrival of a new era of success for the legendary team. Extensive changes have been made and the Red Sox are now about to hit their Spring Training with renewed vigor. They will soon go up against the New York Mets as part of their preseason preparations. Book your Boston Red Sox Saint Lucie tickets and see your favorite side being put through its paces live at the Tradition Field.

The Boston Red Sox are about to get their Spring Training underway. After two underwhelming seasons, they will look to put in the hard yards so that they are well prepared by the time the latest MLB season kicks off.

The rise of a baseball giant

The Boston Red Sox were formed in the year 1901 and did not waste too much time in making their mark on the sport. They clinched the pennant and the World Series in 1903 to announce their arrival among the big boys in style. The Red Sox went on to win five more AL Pennants and an incredible four World Series titles till 1918.

Light after dark

The Boston Red Sox then hit a bit of a lean patch and their form suffered. They won only two pennants between 1919 and 1967. Things began to look up for them again and the Red Sox won the division title and the AL Pennant in 1975. They got their hands on four more division crowns and one pennant till the year 1995.

Then it all came together in 2004. The Curse of the Bambino ended as the Red Sox won their first World Series title since 1918. They also won the pennant that year. Two World titles, two pennants and two division crowns have followed since then.

They are not about to hit the Spring Training camp to make sure they are in the best possible shape mentally and physically to tackle the new season. Grab your Boston Red Sox Saint Lucie tickets and watch one of the most famous baseball teams in the world play live.
