The Boston Red Sox won the World Series in 2013. Their form since that triumph hasn’t been too good and that has hurt everyone associated with the team. The time has come for them to put the record straight this time around.

The Birth of a Baseball Behemoth

The Boston Red Sox were formed way back in the year 1901and they did not waste too much time in making their mark. The franchise went on to win its first pennant and the World Series title in 1903. That was an astonishing start for a side that was just two years old.

That was followed up by four World Series titles and five pennants between 1904 and 1918. Then stuck the Curse of the Bambino and the Red Sox did not win any major titles for quite some time.

The Red Sox Rise Again

Their form improved a little as they went on to get their hands on three pennants and their first five division championships from 1967 till 2003. In 2004, the world saw the Red Sox bounce back and end their long awaited wait for the World Series title to end the “Curse of the Bambino.”

The Boston Red Sox have in total won eight World Series’, thirteen pennants and seven division titles. No other baseball team has won three World Series titles in this century apart from the Red Sox. They are now about to square-off against the Indians. Book your Boston Red Sox Cleveland tickets and watch one of the most iconic teams in MLB history play live at the Progressive Field.
