About Zomboy
Zomboy had a background in traditional sound engineering, running his own recording studio, working with artists and bands and completing a solo project “Place your Bet$”. All of this managed to gather quite an amount of early fame for this rising star from UK. However, the real turn in his career happened when he moved to Guildford, UK, to study the production of Music at the ACM. This was the point in his life when he realized his interest in the world of electronic music.
Zomboy released his debut LP, “The Outbreak” on 4th August, 2014. This LP was a major success as it topped the iTunes electronic chart in 10 countries and managed to reach the top 10 positions in an additional 14 countries. Since the release of this album, Zomboy has made waves in the music industry and has managed to grab the attention of the bigwigs in the record producing industry as well. His fame led the Ministry of Sound and Warner Music to take note of his talents and feature some of his tracks in their compilations.
The Music of Zomboy
Over the years, Zomboy has released several EPs, singles and remixes. He has also made other appearances and worked with multiple artists over the course of his career. His first release was the Game Time EP, which was released on 8th August, 2011, in a digital download format. Next, he released The Dead Symphonic EP in September, 2012. This EP peaked at No. 17 on the US Dance chart and at No.26 on the US Heat chart. Following this, the musician released Here to Stay (feat. Lady Chann) Remixes EP in May, 2013, with the No Tomorrow Records label.
The singer moved back to Never Say Die Records for his next EP, which was titled the Reanimated, Pt. 1 EP, released in September 2013. This album peaked at 169 on the US 200 chart, #3 on the US dance chart, #7 on the US Heat chart and #35 on the US Independent Chart. Reanimated, Pt. 2 EP was released on the same date, but with a different label.
The next piece of work by the artist was an album, titled The Outbreak, released in August 2014 in a digital downloads format. Resurrected LP was released on 25th May 2015 and it appeared on various charts in the US. Its successor, Neon Grave EP was also a commercial success, peaking at #3 on the US Dance chart. In February of 2017, the artist released Neon Grave Remixed EP and in August of 2017, he released his Rott ‘n’ Roll, Pt. 1 – EP.
Zomboy’s Collaborations
During the short time span of his career, Zomboy has managed to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the electronic music industry. He has created remixes for artists such as Fedde Le Grand, Flux Pavillion, and DJ Fresh (Hot Right Now), Nadia Ali (Pressure) getting millions of views on YouTube. In addition to that, Zomboy’s associated acts include the likes of SKisM, MUST DIE!, Foreign Beggars and Skrillex.
Zomboy 2017
Now, the artist is all set to embark on a series of performances all across the country. The first performance will be on the 10th of August, 2017.
