Though, the record failed to generate any success for her, she didn’t let this crush her spirits. In fact, Yuri was just getting started. In the same year, she was asked to work in the movie, ‘Milagro en el circo’ and before the year could come to an end, the Estoy cansada singer was seen co-hosting the TV show, ‘En Familia con Chabelo’ with Cepillín.

She then decided to go on an international tour in support of, ‘Esperanzas.'
One year later, Yuri dropped her third studio effort, ‘Llena de dulzura’ which went gold in Spain. This LP gave six singles out of which Maldita Primavera topped the charts in countries like, Mexico, Spain, Costa Rica and Argentina. Yuri wasn’t done yet and her efforts resulted in albums like, ‘Yuri: Sí, soy así,’ ‘Yo te pido amor’ and ‘Un corazón herido.’ All of them were approved by the critics.
During the 90s, Yuri started to conquer the entertainment industry. That decade, she released a total of six studio LPs including, ‘Obsesiones,’ ‘Espejos del Alma,’ ‘Más Fuerte que la Vida’ and ‘Huellas’ and at the same time appeared in movies like, ‘Soy Libre’ and ‘Yuri, mi verdadera historia.’ She also played a role in the telenovela titled, ‘Volver a empezar.’
