The first steps
Young was born in 1967 and was an avid fan of hip hop from an early age. By the time he was in university he honed his act, and decided he wanted to pursue it as a career. He contacted two recording executives from the Delicious Vinyl Company and rapped for them over the phone. They were so impressed that they delivered a contract to his dorm room a few days later and he went on to release his debut album “Stone Cold Rhymin” in 1989.
Keep moving forward
His debut record is his best selling one to date, with his subsequent seven albums failing to match its performance.
