The Wonder Years – Early Years
Formed in 2005, the members of the band The Premiere joined forces after disbandment and came to be known as The Wonder Years. Dan "Soupy" Campbell, Nick Steinborn, Matt Brasch, Mike Kennedy and Josh Martin form this phenomenal punk-rock band. At the time The Wonder Years was starting out, there was a shift in the punk-rock genre as it was tilting more towards emo and hardcore music. Even though the band had just learned to stand on its feet, it adapted to the change and went with the flow.
Through ingenious songwriting, The Wonder Years cemented their place in the industry. They crooned about growing up, relationships and becoming their own person, presenting the listeners to quality content. The band's debut album "Get Stoked on It!" came out in 2007 and was received well by the fans. They followed it with "The Upsides" in 2010 and it cracked through the Billboard charts. The rambling energy, pop hooks and fresh sound, all made it a fan-favorite album. Since then The Wonder Years has released four albums, latest one hitting the shelves in 2018.
The Wonder Years – Leading Pop Punk Forward
A fully realized effort by the band, "Sister Cities" is a creatively ambitious album. The Pennsylvania heavyweights have unleashed emotive power and treated the fans to an eclectic fusion of punk-rock, alternative rock and even a little bit of country. The tracks "Pyramids of Salt", "We Look Like Lightning" and "It Must Get Lonely" stand out. The album has put The Wonder Years in a convincing position as they have attained the status of a critically acclaimed band. There is a lot of hype surrounding their 2020 Tour that is already selling out The Wonder Years tickets. They are expected to perform on 25 dates, stopping in all the major cities like Boston – which gets two shows, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, LA and Las Vegas. The band will be supported by Free Throw and Spanish Love Songs on all the dates, while Pool Kids will perform on select dates.
The Wonder Years are known for their energetic live concerts as they bring the house down with their arena staples. Are you ready with your tickets?
