The Greatest Improvisational Live Band Announces New Year Eve Concerts
One of the most enduring live bands of all time, Widespread Panic remains a constant force in jamband rock music scene. They are also among those rare bands who have all of their original members present in the lineup, sticking together to create some extraordinary music. According to Domingo S. Ortiz, it’s through band’s devotion towards each other and music that they have managed to remain intact for so long. In 2015, Widespread Panic returned with another studio album “Street Dogs” and it featured some finest songwriting. Flowing, loose and full of spirit, it combines their original tracks with three covers and is produced by John Keane. Throughout the album the six-piece shift gears, treating the listeners to mid-tempo good-time track “Street Dogs for Breakfast” and “Sell Sell” that is a powerful number highlighted by Bell’s gritty vocals and Herring’s guitar prowess.
