Urban Priol is a comedian who hails from Obernburg. In 1980, Priol graduated from his high school and subsequently went to the University of Wurzburg to attain a degree in teaching. On the 3^rd of August in 2006, Priol managed to do an excerpt from his 45 minutes long show in a segment which was known as Fresh Daily. This segment was a part of the programs summer solo which took place on the ZDF broadcasting show. These episodes of his series successfully ran for seven weeks. They were showcased on each Thursday as a solo show on television for comedians. Apart from the show that Priol hosted, the ZDF broadcasted other shows such as Lord of the Dance, Rudiger Hoffman, Ole Lehmann, Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen, Bodo Bach and Ingo Oschmann.
 
On the 3^rd of December in 2006, Urban Priol was seen as being one of the guests appearing in People in 2006. The yearly review had been moderated by Johannes B. Kerner and was subsequently presented to Urban at one of the cabaret annual shows. On the 20^th of January in 2007, he made a guest appearance on the ZDF show know as Wetten dass?
