The Northern Irish indie band came into formation in 2007 when Alex Trimble, Kevin Baird and Sam Halliday came together to pursue their passion for rock music. Their first performance together as a group was when they were all about sixteen years old, under the title ‘Life Without Rory’. They later changed their name to Two Door Cinema Club following Halliday’s mispronunciation of a local cinema’s name Tudor as Two-Door.
The trio mixes guitar-driven hooks with the electronic polish music to make beats that prove infectious for fans. Their debut album released in 2010 titled ‘Tourist History’. The following year, the album was chosen as the ‘Irish Album of the Year’ for Choice Music Prize. The second album by Two Door Cinema Club ‘Beacon’ released in 2012 and made it to the top of Irish Albums Chart. Currently, the band is working on their third studio album. The trio is known for energetic performances that make the audiences sing and dance with them. Get your tickets for their Toronto show and join the fun.
