One of the most popular songs from their current album "Trench", Jumpsuit was released on July 11, 2018 as a promotional song alongside Nico and the Niners. The band was on a year long hiatus prior to its release so there was a lot of hype created among the fans. The lyrics were written by Tyler Joseph while on their "Emotional Roadshow World Tour". The three-minute and fifty eight seconds song is a blend of alternative rock and hard rock genres.
The music video was directed by Andrew Donoho and filmed at Thórsmörk, Iceland. The video was searched the most in one day and got 5.2 million views, surpassing "Heathens" from the Suicide Squad soundtrack. It got a nomination for the "Best Rock Song" at the Grammy Awards 2019.
Nico and The Niners
This track was released along with Jumpsuit on July 11, 2018 from the current album "Trench". It was also a promo song to announce the duo’s re-entry on the music scene. The three-minute and forty seven seconds song is a mix of trip hop, rap, reggae and psychedelic genres. The music video was released five days later and filmed in Ukrainian cities of Kharkiv and Kiev. Fans now have a chance to see them perform these two singles along with the other hit songs live at the concert in Staples Center.
