Getting it started

Twenty One Pilots were formed in 2009 when three college buddies, Nick Thomas, Chris Salih and Tyler Joseph decided to pursue a career in the music industry. The trio soon began performing gigs and developed a huge fan following in the Midwest and Ohio. They later self-released their debut self titled album and kept on rocking fans by putting out fresh track on their SoundCloud account. In 2011 however, Thomas and Salih left the band due to their busy schedules which left Joseph alone until he was joined by Josh Dun. The newly formed duo was ultimately signed by Fueled by Ramen though which they released their record, ‘Vessel’ which went gold in the U.S.  

Living their dream

Twenty One Pilots put out their latest record, ‘Blurryface’ in 2015 which dominated the charts in the U.S and became their first platinum selling album. It featured their hit single, Stressed Out which topped the charts in multiple countries. The album also earned them a Billboard Music Award for the ‘Top Rock Album’ in 2016.
